For this wonderful event and all the good work the church has been doing a Certificate of Recognition on behalf of the State of California was presented by State Senator Dr. Richard Pan of District 7.

Pacific Islanders of Tonga Celebrate International Women’s Day of Prayer in California 2018

Every year in March the local Tongan International Women’s Day of Prayer committee organize this interdenominational fellowship.

Sapate Fakame: Sunday Worship Service – May 6, 2018

In Tonga and Tongan Methodist Church communities worldwide the first Sunday of the month of May is dedicated to a celebration called Fakame or Children’s White Sunday. Children and youth dress in their new clothes specially made for the occasion. They sing, dance to hymns, do a play or recite verses of the Bible.
