Lolo ‘a Halaevalu Legacy
The song and video contain scenes of the beautiful Vava’u harbor “Lolo’a Halaevalu” reflecting its epic Pouono founding legacy of “God and Tonga is my Heritage ” by His Majesty King Tupou I and High chief Ulukalala in the 1830s. The lyrics of the song were written in honor of the former Vava’u Governor H.R.H. Prince Tu’ipelehake who coined the term “Lei Fahina” for the great business developments at the beautiful harbor waterfront and in Neiafu during his tenure as governor.
